Completing the Questionnaires
The information gathered from these questionnaires will be used to populate each of the assigned forms. The questionnaires displayed in this record are based on the assigned forms. The Incomplete status indicates the HR User needs to enter information to complete the form. Questionnaires with a Complete status indicates no further information is required.
The questionnaires are populated by a combination of information provided by the HR User and the new hire. In this example, the Position Information questionnaire is completed solely by the HR staff. All other questionnaires are completed by both the HR and the new hire. The information provided by the new hire on other questionnaires displays to the HR User, but cannot be modified in this area of the system. Only the new hire can update the information she entered. Therefore, if the questionnaire field is grayed out at this point, that means the field is editable by the new hire only. The questionnaires in Complete status have already been completed by the new hire.
Let's begin with the completing the Position Information questionnaire. You will notice that the Biographic Information and Benefits Information questionnaires are also incomplete, however, we will complete them later in the course. Those questionnaires require information that is gathered once the start date is established or on the first day of work.
