Completing the New Hire Record
To complete a new hire record, all tasks assigned to Human Resources on the Manage Tasks page must be in Complete status.
Now that the transmissions on the Forms and Documents pages are complete, the system will automatically complete the following HR tasks:
- Transmit Forms to eOPF. This task is automatically assigned to the record as soon as a form that is eligible for transmission to the eOPF system is signed and/or accepted by the HR User.
- Transmit Documents to eOPF. This task is automatically assigned to the record as soon as a document is assigned to a Document Type that is eligible for transmission to the eOPF system.
In this example, the HR User entered the Completed Date for the remaining Human Resources tasks on this page. The record status at the top right corner of the page updates to Complete when all Human Resources tasks are in Complete status. Joy's record is complete!
Note: The tasks assigned on the New Hire page do not have to be completed in order for the record status to update to Complete.
